Get Directions

You’ll love visiting the historic Mascoma Area Senior Center (MASC), located in the former Indian River Grange Hall in the heart of downtown Canaan. The cozy, wood-paneled dining room is a perfect setting for the daily lunches (M-F) at 12 noon.

“Early birds” drop by any time after 8 a.m. for morning coffee and to visit with old and new friends. The pot is always hot and there’s usually lively conversation in this inviting gathering place; so plan to join us.

More than Lunch

Each weekday, meals are prepared in the MASC kitchen for delivery to homebound neighbors. A trained outreach worker is available by appointment to help individuals with their unique needs. The Mascoma Center’s lift-equipped van provides transportation to the Center or to appointments and/or shopping. Please call ahead to schedule the bus.

The Center also houses The Mascoma Area Food Pantry, open by appointment to all residents of the five-town region.
