Welcome to Grafton County Senior Citizens Council, Inc., (GCSCC).
Thanks for stopping by.
Our eight senior centers are “welcome centers” for their respective regions. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a volunteer, you’ll be pleased to find a friendly gathering spot where everybody knows your name.
If you live in, or near Grafton County, and if you’re trying to reconnect with old friends, meet new people, enjoy good meals, entertainment, exercise, educational opportunities or special trips, we recommend you visit the senior center nearest you. Need a ride to a senior center for lunch or to a medical appointment? Call your senior center and ask to be picked up by one of our friendly drivers in a lift-equipped van.
If you have a neighbor or family member who no longer shops, prepares meals, or who is feeling isolated or anxious about living alone, let us know so we can help. Programs such as Meals on Wheels are prepared in our center kitchens and delivered by dedicated volunteers. Our outreach workers and resource staff are invaluable to those needing help accessing special services.
For more than 40 years, GCSCC has been the “go to” place in Grafton County for services that enable older citizens, and those with disabilities, to remain independent and safe at home. Our centers are also community-driven facilities where people stop by to have fun, enjoy a meal together, continue lifelong learning, and laugh and care for each other. And – we always need great volunteers—they are the heart and soul of the centers. So, drop by to have lunch—you’ll be glad you did!
